Podrelay capability reference

How Podrelay reporting works.

Podrelay turns recurring podcast data collection, checks and client reporting into one managed operation. Your team gets dependable reports and centralized analytics without carrying every update by hand.

What changes for your agency.

Less time preparing the report. More confidence in the conversation that follows.

Time

More room for client work

Recurring collection and report preparation move out of your account team's day. Keep their attention on campaign planning, client questions and renewals.

Trust

Answers you can stand behind

Reports, dashboards and QBRs draw on the same reconciled figures. Your team can explain the number, trace its source and show what needs attention.

Capacity

Take on the next account

Reuse a maintained reporting workflow as advertisers and shows are added, rather than rebuilding the same process for every client.

Your reporting week

Recognize the work behind the report?

Spend less time chasing spreadsheets and more time answering clients, keeping campaigns on track and making a stronger case for your shows.

Automated reporting

Another reporting cycle. The same manual work.

Weekly updates and month-end reporting keep pulling your team back into exports and spreadsheets.

What we manage

We automate recurring collection, rate card checks, monthly KPIs and month-end reconciliation, with human review of exceptions.

What your team receives

Weekly updates and month-end reports, handled

Scheduled reports with campaign pacing and exceptions clearly flagged. Your team can focus on delivery and client decisions.

Custom reporting requests

A new question needs a different cut of the data.

A client needs analysis beyond the scheduled report: a custom date range, campaign breakdown or selected-show comparison.

What we manage

We build the requested analysis from maintained records, check the filters and explain the result.

What your team receives

A focused answer to a specific brief

A checked table, chart or short report answering the question, without starting another spreadsheet from scratch.

Everyday client answers

A quick client question becomes a spreadsheet search.

The figures already exist, but delivery, audience and performance updates are scattered across files.

What we manage

We maintain one branded dashboard with the relevant figures, source notes and update dates close at hand.

What your team receives

Faster answers. Reports ready to share.

Find and export the information already available, so advertisers get a clear answer without another data request.

Audience and sales

Know your audience. Show advertisers the fit.

An advertiser needs evidence that a show reaches their target customer.

What we manage

We compare available geography, demographics and engagement across platforms, keeping each figure's source and reporting period visible.

What your team receives

A stronger case for your shows

Audience profiles for media kits and pitches. Explain who listens, how platform audiences differ and why the show fits the advertiser's brief.

Reporting schedules, deliverables and custom requests are defined around your agency's needs.

What is Podrelay?

Podrelay builds and runs managed podcast reporting operations for agencies, networks and publishers. It automates data collection and recurring reports, maintains centralized analytics dashboards and adds human review before client delivery.

Your team gets an accountable operator for the reporting cycle, from implementation through recurring client delivery. We maintain the source mapping, checks and report logic as the agreed workflow evolves. This is the official Podrelay website at www.podrelay.io.

Where the reporting data comes from

Podrelay works with client-authorized data or approved exports from the systems your team already uses. The available method is agreed source by source. Naming a platform below describes a source category, rather than promising a universal one-click connector.

  • Podcast hosting and distribution: show and episode downloads, platform consumption and available audience breakdowns.
  • Apple Podcasts and Spotify: platform-native performance, engagement and audience fields when available to the client's account.
  • YouTube: video views, engaged views, watch time, retention and available audience analytics.
  • Ad-serving and measurement tools: delivery, campaign performance and approved attribution outputs.
  • CRM, booking and internal records: contracted delivery, campaign dates, advertiser mappings, spend and revenue context.

Those systems remain the sources of record. Podrelay preserves the source, metric definition, period and attribution context. The reporting operation does not require its own listener-tracking pixel or podcast prefix. Existing measurement tools can remain in your stack.

How implementation and ongoing reporting work

  1. Map the workflow. Identify recurring reports, source access, manual work and who signs off the output.
  2. Define the reporting logic. Agree show and campaign mappings, authoritative sources, periods, permissions and refresh schedules.
  3. Build and reconcile. Set up recurring collection and the required reports or dashboard, then check the outputs against the source records.
  4. Run the reporting cycle. Maintain the workflow, review exceptions and prepare checked client deliverables on the agreed cadence.

Dashboard freshness depends on when the source updates and the reporting workflow processes it. A scheduled report preserves a period-specific record; a dashboard shows the latest processed view. The two can serve different decisions while sharing the same definitions.

A reporting operation built around your agency

We start by mapping your workflow and building the reporting system, then run it within the agreed scope. Sources, cadence, deliverables and responsibilities are defined around your team. Pricing starts at $1,500 a month, depending on your stack and the reporting you need, on month-to-month contracts with no long-term commitment. What evidence is public?

The anonymized reporting automation case study documents work the founder led inside a major US media network before Podrelay existed. It reports more than 1,500 manual reporting hours removed annually while supporting more than 70 concurrent advertisers. The roughly $52,500 annual labor figure applies a conservative $35/hr blended internal rate to 1,500 hours.

That is one historical engagement, with its context and calculation published alongside the figures. It is not a forecast for every implementation. Sanitized operating dashboards show real layouts with sensitive client details blurred. The protected portal demo uses fictional data.

Podcast reporting and analytics questions

Can Podrelay bring podcast analytics into one dashboard?

Yes. A custom reporting dashboard can bring together podcast hosting data, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, ad delivery and commercial records. Access is client-authorized, through available connections or approved exports. Each metric keeps its source and definition.

Can Podrelay report on podcast audience demographics?

Yes, where authorized sources provide them. Audience reporting can include geography, age, gender, device mix and engagement trends. Coverage varies by source; platform audiences are not automatically deduplicated into a unique listener total.

Who is Podrelay built for?

Podcast agencies, networks, publishers and media teams managing recurring show or advertiser reporting. The engagement combines implementation and ongoing operation, with dashboards and reports built around the team's existing systems.
